All 5 of these tracks are amazing. The phrase "pity popsickle" from the chorus to "Sad Eyed Lover" will be ringing in my mind for ages. Wonderful voice and great guitar licks throughout.
Favorite track: Sad Eyed Lover.

Katie Knipp is a gifted musician, able not only to play slide guitar, piano, and harmonica but mainly able to make her singing prevail over the textures of a song."- Blues Rock Review

What some notable music industry veterans have said so far:
“Katie Knipp performs a unique interpretation of traditional blues and soul music. Her new CD features excellent musicianship and instrumentation recorded down and dirty. Somewhat reminiscent of a young Maria Muldaur. My personal favorite is “The Gospel of Good Intentions”.” -Lewis Stephens, keyboardist for Gary Clark Jr.,ZZ Top, Eric Clapton, the late Freddie King, and more.
“Soul, soul, soul. Lots of mood and good lyrics. Very distinct vocal, tons of character and sincerity, great energy from all in the band with earthy tones and minimalistic approach, but just the right amount of notes. Ya. Do it. I think Sad Eyed Lover is my fave.” -Gabe Nelson, Cake
“The blues idiom has survived for so long because of artists continually reinventing it so that it seems vital and contemporary. Katie Knipp has used her impressive talents to put her own stamp on this from-the-heart musical form and she continues to evolve. It is exciting to witness such talent in progress. More importantly, her songs are also a great deal of fun.” -Mick Martin, host of Cap Radio’s Blues Party
“Playing with this set of musicians, Katie sounds like she’s wearing her favorite jacket. Cool, comfortable, and confident. Everything is moving in the right direction!” -Lenny Bradford, bassist for Joe Louis Walker
